At the Center for Inclusive Innovation, digital inclusion is a founding principle.

The Center for Inclusive innovation brings together stakeholders from the tech industry, the public sector, philanthropy, education, the non-profit sector and other professions, to work together with organizations representing communities underserved by the tech sector. We plan and take decisive, collaborative, and measurable actions to serve those communities' needs and increase access to digital technology and Oregon's innovation ecosystem.

Enduring inequities and unequal development have engendered differential access to critical technologies for BIPOC and low-income communities. We are driven to advocate for historically marginalized and vulnerable individuals by holding public officials, major corporations, and wealthy benefactors accountable for providing and propagating access to the resources we all need to thrive as a cohesive, economically thriving society.

The Center for Inclusive Innovation creates a framework that encapsulates diverse knowledge, strategies, policies, and processes to address people’s needs locally, regionally, and nationally.
